We are based in Neriamangalam, which is part of the Ernakulam district. Our place is called Ambattu. It’s a quiet spot compared to the bigger cities in Kerala. Working as structural consultants means we spend a lot of time looking at beams and foundations. The post office nearby is Neriamangalam PO and the pin is 686693. Kothamangalam isn't too far away. The surroundings are very green, which is nice when you need a break from looking at blueprints. Our office is just a part of the house, very local and straightforward. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know their way around a building plan. Sometimes the rain here is so heavy you can't hear yourself think, but we keep working through it. It’s a very honest way to earn a living. We help people make sure their structures are safe. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. If a wall needs more support, we just say so. Most of our clients are locals or people from the nearby towns. It’s a small community and word travels fast. We’ve been at Ambattu for years. It’s home and it’s where we work. There’s no need for anything more complicated than that. We usually have some coffee and sit on the porch when the work is slow. It is a good place to think about designs and math.
