Our office is on the first floor of the Poonithura Post Office Building in Ernakulam. It’s actually a pretty convenient spot since everyone knows where the post office is. We handle security and technical maintenance from here. Being in No. 30/287A means we get to see a lot of people coming and going downstairs. The office itself is functional. We have benches for the staff and a couple of desks for the administrative stuff. Since it’s Ernakulam, it gets quite humid, so we usually have the fans going full blast. We deal with a lot of different maintenance tasks, from fixing things to overseeing security personnel. It’s a mix of paperwork and getting our hands dirty. We don't have any corporate slogans hanging on the walls. It’s just us trying to keep everything running for the clients we look after. We often have tools and spare parts sitting in the corner because you never know when something will need a quick repair. Our days are mostly spent coordinating with the teams out in the field. If someone calls with a problem, we try to get it sorted without making a big production out of it. It’s just honest work. We take our breaks when we can and usually grab a tea from the shop nearby. The building is a bit older, but it serves us well for what we do.
