Sojan Alex Stores

We are located at number 85, right near the Puthencruz Post Office. Being so close to the post office means we see people from all over the area coming and going. It’s a convenient spot, and we’ve been here long enough that most people use us as a landmark. The shop itself is simple, with tiled floors that have a few cracks here and there. We don't mind much, as long as it's clean. We keep a variety of goods that people might need in a hurry. The shelves are packed, and sometimes we have to use a ladder to reach the stuff at the very top. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the front door wide open to catch any breeze. We aren’t big on technology here; we still use a paper notebook to keep track of some of our orders. It might seem old-fashioned to some, but it works for us and we haven't lost a page yet. The community in Puthencruz is close-knit, so we often spend more time talking to customers about their families than actually selling things. It makes the day go by faster. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first person to walk in. It’s a quiet life, but we like it that way. We've been here for many years now and we're just part of the local scene.
