Sign Design

Sign Design is located on the second floor of the Nappady Building, right on St Vincent Road in the North part of Ernakulam. It’s a flat that we’ve converted into our working space. We spend our time working on various design layouts and signage ideas for people around the city. The office is at 41/2848/C, and it’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a good spot once you’re there. We’ve got a lot of sketches and color charts pinned to the walls. It’s not a corporate office by any means; it feels more like a workshop. We started doing this because we had a knack for visuals, and it just turned into a business over time. Most of our work is done on computers, but there’s still plenty of hand-drawing involved in the early stages. St Vincent Road is a bit narrow, but it has a nice local feel to it. We aren't a massive agency with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us here, trying to get the designs right for whoever walks through the door. We don't use much fancy language to describe what we do. We just sit down, listen to what someone needs, and then try to draw it up. It’s a straightforward process and we like the simplicity of it. It’s a good way to spend our days in the city. We enjoy the creative grind every single day we are here.
