Shagufta Creations

Shagufta Creations is situated in the Penta Menaka Shopping Complex on Shanmugam Road. We are right there by Marine Drive in Ernakulam. It’s a really lively part of Kochi, and there are always tourists and locals walking around the waterfront. Our shop is inside the complex, which is a big place with lots of different businesses. We have been here for a good number of years. Focusing on our creations and fabrics keeps us pretty busy from morning until night. It’s not a corporate office or anything like that, just a regular shop where we do our work. The complex can get a bit confusing if you’re not used to it, but we are in a spot where people eventually find us. We don’t bother with expensive ads. People just walk in while they are out shopping at Penta Menaka. The air is always a bit salty because we are so close to the sea. Most of the day is spent working with the materials and talking to the people who stop by. Sometimes it’s just someone looking for a bit of thread, and other times it’s a bigger order. We don’t have any fancy goals, we just show up and do the work that needs to be done. It’s a solid way to make a living in a city that never really stops moving. We just keep our heads down and work.
