Rishiram Chits Private Limited is based on the second floor of the Thottekattu Estate on Chittoor Road. This part of Ernakulam is always moving, so there is plenty of noise from the street below. Our office is at 62/1724, which used to have a different old number, but the 2Cb unit is where you will find us. We have a few rooms here where we keep all the files for the chit schemes we manage. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it keeps us active. We mostly spend our time looking at numbers and making sure the monthly cycles are running without any hiccups. We are not trying to be some big corporate firm. We are just a local business that helps people save and get funds when they need them. The office has some old furniture and a lot of filing cabinets. It feels like a workspace where real things happen. We deal with people from all over the city who come by after work to settle their dues. Sometimes we stay late to finish the monthly tallies, especially at the end of the month. It is just honest work. We know our members by name and they know where to find us in the Estate building. It is a straightforward setup and we like it that way because it keeps things clear for everyone involved in the chitty. We are just here doing the daily tasks.
