If you head down Kattukuzhy Road in Thaikkattussery, you’ll find us at Chenangath House. It’s building number 30/1021. We’ve been here for a bit, and the house serves as our main base for everything we do. It’s a local neighborhood, so we see the same faces every morning when we open up. We aren't some big corporation with a fancy lobby. We’re just a small group of people working out of a house to get things done. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the mail gets delayed, but we manage. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals and figuring out what’s needed in this specific part of Thaikkattussery. The road outside can get a bit busy during school hours, but otherwise, it’s a pretty calm place to work. We don’t have a lot of rules about how things should look as long as the work gets finished. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing things down in ledgers. We like the fact that people can just walk up to the gate and ask us a question. It keeps us grounded. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated plans. We just look at what is happening today and try to make it work for everyone involved. It’s a practical way to run things, and it suits us just fine. Living and working in Chenangath House is quite comfortable.
