Rajagiri Hospital

If you head out towards Chunangamvely Aluva, you’ll find Rajagiri Hospital sitting there. It’s a large building, quite hard to miss if you’re driving through the area. Most of us who work here have been around for years, so we’ve seen the place grow quite a bit since it first started. The halls are usually full of people, families waiting, and doctors rushing between rooms. It gets noisy sometimes, especially in the afternoons when visiting hours are in full swing. We have a lot of different departments spread out over the floors, so sometimes new people get a bit lost looking for the labs or the pharmacy, but there’s usually someone around to point the way. The grounds are kept okay, but with all the rain we get in Aluva, things grow fast. We just focus on seeing the patients who come in. Some people come from quite far away because they know the name, while others just live down the street in Chunangamvely. It’s a busy life working in a place like this. There’s always paperwork to do and machines that need checking. We don't really do much in the way of talking ourselves up; we just show up, put on the scrubs, and start the shift. It’s a solid place to work, even on the days when everything feels a bit chaotic. We just try to help whoever comes through the door as best as we can.
