R.S. Knitting

R.S. Knitting is based at 100/A, 17th Cross, over in J.P. Nagar. It’s a nice enough area, though finding a parking spot can be a real pain if you arrive after nine. We’ve got a decent-sized space for our machines and the yarn storage. The noise of the knitting machines is constant, a sort of rhythmic clicking that you stop noticing after the first hour. We aren't a massive factory. We’re more of a local shop where a few of us keep things running. The walls are lined with different colors of thread, and there’s always a faint smell of machine oil in the air. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us at the machines or checking the finished pieces for any dropped stitches. We keep it pretty casual here. We wear comfortable clothes and don’t worry too much about titles. It’s all about getting the sweaters or whatever we’re making finished on time. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves, which can be messy. But that’s how we learned the business. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep our customers happy without any big promises. It’s just what we do, day in and day out, right here in the 5th Phase.
