We are over here at Kokkarnikkal House, right in Pullu. It’s an old place, and honestly, the walls could probably use some fresh paint. My desk sits by the window where I can see the main road. Most mornings start with a bit of dust and a lot of tea. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk in when they need something. The internet is a bit hit or miss, especially when it rains hard, which happens a lot in Trichur. It’s not a big corporate setup. Just a few of us trying to keep the files organized and the phone answered. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to chat about the weather or the harvest. It gets loud when the buses go past, but you get used to it after a while. We spend a lot of time just moving papers around and checking on projects near the island. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the birds and the occasional scooter backfiring. If you look for us, just look for the big house near the bridge. We’ve been here for a while now, and the office smells a bit like old paper and tea leaves. It’s home, really. We don’t worry much about looking professional in suits. Usually, it’s just shirts and sandals. That’s how things go around here.
