Our office is located at Building No.9/318 on Pararathara Road in Chandiroor. Being in the marine food business means we are always around fish and other seafood. It’s a busy life because the products we deal with are perishable. We have to move fast. Most of our days start very early, often before the sun is even up. We’re down at the docks or checking the latest arrivals to make sure everything is fresh. The smell of the sea is something you never really get out of your clothes. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning in every room. It's more of a functional space where we can keep our records and talk to the fishermen and transporters. Chandiroor is a good place for this kind of work, as there’s a lot of tradition here. We know most of the people we work with by name. It’s not just business; it’s a community. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in traffic on the way to the port, and we’re all sitting around checking our watches. It can be stressful, but that’s the trade we chose. We aren't interested in being some massive global entity. We just want to do our jobs well and make sure the seafood gets to where it’s going. It’s honest work, and we’re proud to be doing it from our little corner on Pararathara Road. We usually grab some tea together when the morning rush is finally over.
