Philia Associates LLP is situated in the Avoly Grama Panchayath area. Our office is on P M Road, which most people know because it is quite near Nirmala College. Being so close to a college means there is always some activity happening nearby. The office is in building XIV/I/F. It’s a straightforward place. We have a few rooms where we handle our daily tasks. The walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a clock that is a few minutes fast. We don't mind it though. Working in this part of the state is nice because it’s not as crowded as the city center. We get a mix of weather, and during the monsoon, the rain hits the roof pretty loud. We spend our days dealing with paperwork and taking some notes. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. There isn't a strict hierarchy or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home. The office has a very local feel to it. You can hear the buses going by on the road outside. Sometimes we stop for a tea break at the shop down the street. It is a basic way to run a business, but it works for us. We’ve become part of the neighborhood over time. People around here know the building, so we don't need a lot of signage.
