Down on Perumanur Chakkalakkal Road, you’ll find us at No. 27/3706 A B. Tradeliners Auto Private Limited is what the sign says, but most people just call us for auto stuff. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, isn't it? We are right there on the road, so it’s easy to spot if you’re looking. The garage area stays pretty full most of the time. We have a lot of parts lying around, which might look messy to some, but we know where everything is. It’s a busy road, and we get a lot of people stopping in when they have car trouble nearby. We aren't like those big dealerships with glass walls and free snacks. We’re just a bunch of people who know how engines work. Sometimes we get grease on our clothes, but that’s part of the trade. The building itself has been here for a while and shows its age a bit. We don't mind. It does the job. Most of our day is spent under hoods or looking at tires. We try to be honest about what needs fixing and what can wait. It’s just us doing the best we can with the tools we have. Some days the rain makes it hard to work outside, so we huddle in the back and wait for it to pass before starting again.
