Paluk Hospital

People around Nanadanam usually know where we are. It’s a busy area and the hospital sits right here in the middle of things. I started working here a while back and the days just seem to blend together sometimes. We see folks coming in with all sorts of small problems or just checking up on stuff. The building isn't fancy, but it does what it needs to do for the neighborhood. In the mornings, you can hear the traffic starting up outside and patients start trickling in through the front doors. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the waiting area when everyone shows up at once. It’s just how things go in a place like this. Most of us living nearby have walked past this spot a hundred times. I remember when the street looked a bit different, but Paluk Hospital has stayed pretty much the same. We handle the paperwork, talk to the families, and make sure the rooms are ready for whoever needs them. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s real work. Some days are quieter than others, giving us a chance to catch our breath and maybe grab a tea from around the corner. If you’re looking for the place, just head toward Nanadanam and you’ll find us. We’re usually here from early morning until late, just keeping the lights on and doing the basic things that need doing for the people around here. We have some old benches in the hall that have been there forever, and the ceiling fans hum quite a bit when it gets hot in the afternoons. It's just a regular part of life for us.
