Oasis Travels

We've been at Mulakayath House for a while now. If you know Chittoor Road, you probably know where St Antonys Church is. We are right near there. It’s a busy spot in Kochi. Most days it’s just us sitting at the desks, looking through flight schedules and trying to figure out the best routes for people who drop by. We aren't a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular room where we keep our maps and folders. Sometimes the printer acts up right when we need to hand over a ticket, which is annoying, but we get it sorted. People from the neighborhood come in to ask about train timings or how much a trip to the hills might cost. We try to be helpful without making things complicated. Most of the time, we’re just chatting about the weather or the traffic outside while we wait for a booking site to load. It feels like home because we’ve lived in Ernakulam all our lives. We know the shortcuts around the church and where to get the best snacks in the afternoon. When you stop by, you’ll probably see a few old calendars on the wall and some coffee cups on the table. It’s not much, but it’s how we work. We just take one day at a time, making sure everyone gets where they need to go without too much trouble or fuss. It is a simple way to spend the day.
