Netone India

Netone India is up on the 6th floor of the Mather Square Block in Ernakulam North. Getting to work involves a bit of a wait for the elevator, especially in the mornings when everyone else in the building is trying to get to their offices too. Once you’re inside, it’s actually quite a decent space. We have a good view of the trains passing by the station near Ernakulam North, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the computer screens. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks, chairs, and a lot of cables running along the floor. We do a lot of networking and system work here. It can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows, but the air conditioning usually keeps up well enough. Most of us have been working together for a while, so it’s a relaxed atmosphere. We don't really do big meetings; we just talk over the partitions if someone needs help with a project. There's a small pantry where we keep the kettle and some biscuits. It’s a busy building with a lot of different companies, so there is always someone coming or going in the hallways. Sometimes the courier guys get lost looking for our floor, so we have to go out and wave them down. It’s just a regular office life for us here in Mather Square, keeping things moving along and making sure everything runs right.
