Our pharmacy is in a place called Thottakad, at the Kalarickal area. We are in the Thekkumpuruth Building, room 7/272-B. We focus on Sidha and Ayurvedic medicines, which is something we’ve always been interested in and have studied for years. It’s a quiet part of the world compared to the big cities. The building is simple and we’ve set it up to handle our traditional pharmaceutical work. We handle a lot of herbs and natural products, so the office usually has a very specific smell from the dried plants, which I actually quite like. It’s a small operation. We don't have a lot of employees, just a few of us who understand the old ways of making and selling these medicines correctly. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the roots and powders we get from our sources. It’s slow work sometimes, but you can’t rush this kind of thing if you want it done right. We aren't interested in being a massive corporation with hundreds of branches. We just want to keep the traditions alive and provide these remedies to people who need them. Thottakad is a nice community and we feel lucky to be based here in the Kalarickal area. It’s a humble place, and that suits us just fine. We just take it one day at a time, filling orders, checking our inventory, and talking to our neighbors who stop by.
