You can find Mithra Sahakarana Nidhi Limited over in Kunnukara Village. Our address is 469/1A, right in the heart of the P.O. area. It’s a quiet spot, which is how we like it. The building is nothing special to look at, just a practical space where we can get our work done without any distractions. We handle local savings and help people out with their accounts. Most of the folks who come in are people we’ve known for years. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write speeches for us. We just open up the doors in the morning, sweep the front, and start our day. Some days are busier than others, especially when it’s market day or when people have just gotten paid. We try to keep the paperwork to a minimum because nobody wants to sit around all afternoon. The village life suits us. We know the families and we know the stories. It makes the work feel more like a real part of the community. We have a few desks and some benches for people to wait on if we’re busy with someone else. The light in the office is a bit dim in the afternoons, but we manage just fine. It’s just a local operation run by people who live right here in Kunnukara. We aren't trying to expand everywhere. We just want to do a decent job for the people here.
