Axis Interiors

Up on the 4th floor of the Crescens Tower, you’ll find Axis Interiors. We are in the same building as the Reliance Fresh in Kalamassery. We spend most of our time looking at floor plans and picking out materials for different projects. It’s a lot of measuring and double-checking things. Our workspace is usually covered in samples of wood, fabric, and tiles. We handle interior work for homes and offices around here. It’s not always pretty; there’s often dust and the sound of drills when we’re actually on a job site. Back at the office in Kalamassery, we do the planning part. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of designers, just a dedicated group that likes putting things together. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up or when a shipment of furniture is arriving. People come up to the 4th floor to talk about their kitchens or how to fit more desks into a small office. We try to be practical about what can actually be done with the space available. It’s a lot of problem-solving, really. One day we might be talking about paint colors and the next we’re trying to figure out why a cabinet doesn’t fit right. It keeps the work interesting. We’ve been in this building for a while now, and it’s a good spot for us to reach different parts of the city quickly. Most of the time, we are just trying to make spaces work better for the people using them.
