You can find us at Door No. 12/450/2 on the first floor of the Panaparambil House in Nadathara. It is a residential area mostly, so it feels very much like being part of a neighborhood rather than a business district. The office is really just a converted part of the building. We have a small balcony where we keep a few potted plants, though they don't always look their best. Inside, it is just us and a couple of computers and a lot of files. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit dark when the lightbulb blows, but we try to keep it changed. People from Nadathara come to us when they have a little bit of money they want to put aside or if they need to ask about a small loan. We sit across from them and talk like regular people, because that is what we are. There is no reception desk or uniformed staff here. We just wear our regular clothes and get on with the task of keeping the books straight. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It is a slow and steady kind of life here. We like that we are close to where people live. It makes the whole thing feel more like a community group than a company.
