Mantale Apparels Private Limited is situated on the ground floor of Emir Plaza. We’re at 64/2836 on KK Road in Kaloor. It’s a handy location since it’s right in the middle of things, which makes getting supplies much easier than if we were out in the middle of nowhere. The space is B3, and it’s basically where all the work happens. It’s mostly just a lot of sewing and cutting and checking for loose threads. We have a small team here. We aren't into that corporate culture stuff; we just come in, have our tea, and get to work. The KK Road area is always humming with people, which keeps things interesting. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when we have a lot of inventory coming in, but we make it work. We’ve gotten pretty good at stacking boxes to save space. We do a lot of different apparel items. It’s a lot of repetition, but you have to be careful with the details or everything goes wrong. We don't have a PR person or anything like that. If you need to talk to us, you just come to the ground floor and find us. We’re usually there until late most evenings. It’s a decent living and we enjoy being part of the Kaloor business community. We just keep our heads down and focus on the clothes. There's always a new order to worry about and a shipment to prepare, but that is the life of a garment worker.
