Our place is located at V/555d in the Ellickaparambil Estate. It’s part of Mamala P. O. and the local area is called Palachuvadu. Being in an estate means we have a bit more room than if we were right in the middle of a crowded town. Abn Impex Pvt. Ltd. is where we handle various import and export jobs. The building is solid and has plenty of storage for whatever is coming or going at the time. We have a small crew that keeps the gears turning. Palachuvadu is a nice enough place to be based, and the post office in Mamala is close enough for all our paperwork needs. We spend our days coordinating with drivers and checking over the inventory lists. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. The office part is just a few desks and some filing cabinets pushed into a corner by the window. Most of the action happens out on the floor where the goods are kept in stacks. We have some trees around the building that provide a bit of shade during the hotter months which we appreciate. Sometimes we have visitors, but usually, it’s just the same familiar faces every day. We don’t go in for fancy titles or complicated procedures; we just see what needs to be moved and we move it properly before the sun goes down and we all head home.
