Madonna Hospital & Research Centre

Our place, Madonna Hospital & Research Centre, is situated right on Aluva Road, which is part of NH 47 in Angamaly. Being on the highway means we see a lot of people passing through, not just the locals from around here. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always the sound of trucks and cars going by at all hours. We have been part of this community for a bit, and we have seen how Angamaly has grown around the highway over the years. The research centre part of our name sounds a bit formal, but we are really just a group of people working together in this building. It’s not a shiny new skyscraper or anything, just a practical space where we can do our work properly. Sometimes the dust from the road gets to be a bit much, but that’s life on the NH 47. We try to keep things simple here without any big fuss or complicated systems. If you’re driving down from Aluva or coming into Angamaly, you’ll see us on the side of the road. We don't have a big reception area with fancy coffee, just a desk and some chairs for people to wait. We start early and usually finish late, depending on how many people need us that day. It is a busy life, but it’s what we do here every day.
