Lourdes Hospital

We are located in the Pachalam area, which has a bit of a different vibe than the busier parts of the city center. Being here at Lourdes Hospital means we see a lot of the local residents who live just a few streets away. The building has been part of the landscape for many years. We are not one of those new, glass-fronted private clinics you see popping up. This is a real hospital with its own history and a lot of daily activity. The nurses are usually busy with their rounds, and you can always hear the trolleys moving through the halls. We do not do any big advertising or commercials. Most people come here because they know us or their family has been coming here for a generation. It is a place where we know the local shops and the neighbors well. The routine is the same every day—checking in patients, managing the pharmacy, and making sure the doctors have what they need for their cases. It gets very busy in the mornings when the outpatient clinics open up. Sometimes the rain makes the commute difficult for our staff, but the hospital never stops running. We have all sorts of people walking through the doors, and we just try to do our best with the resources we have. It is practical work. We are just a team of workers in Pachalam trying to keep the community healthy without any fuss.
