Looms Garments Llp is based in Ottappalam, which is a nice part of Palakkad. We are at door number 10/149 in the Kollam Parambil area. It’s a straightforward garment setup. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or anything like that. The focus is mainly on the machines and the fabric. Ottappalam is a place with a lot of history, and we feel like we are just another small part of the local economy here. Most of us who work here are from around the area, so we walk or bike in. The work is mostly routine—cutting patterns, stitching them up, and checking for any mistakes. We have a few heavy-duty machines that make a fair bit of noise, but that’s the sound of work getting done. Sometimes we have a lot of scrap fabric lying around, but we try to keep it organized. It’s not a polished corporate office; it's a workshop. We deal with various types of clothing depending on what's needed. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in Kerala, just a reliable one for the people who know us. There is something satisfying about seeing a pile of fabric turn into finished clothes by the end of the week. We just keep at it, day in and day out, here in Palakkad. It's just what we do to keep the lights on and the business moving along.
