Lakeshore Hospital And Research Centre is based in Ernakulum, Kochi. It’s a busy city, and we are right in the middle of all that noise and movement. Being in Kochi means there are always people around, no matter what time it is. The building we are in has been part of Ernakulum for a good bit of time now. You can see the wear and tear on the stairs from all the people walking up and down them every day. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff that needs to be there, like signs and schedules. The rooms are a bit small, but we make them work for what we need. Sometimes the city sounds from outside get a bit loud, especially when the buses go by. We have a small area where staff can sit for a minute and have some coffee. It’s usually pretty crowded during the shift changes. We spend a lot of our time looking at charts and talking to the people who come in. It’s just regular work in a regular part of Kochi. We don't try to stand out too much. We just keep our heads down and do what is required. The heat in Ernakulum can be a lot, so we are glad for the fans we have going. It’s just a place where people come when they need help, and we are here to provide it. We just keep moving forward one shift at a time.
