You can find us on the first floor of Penta Towers, which is right across from the Kaloor Bus Stand in Ernakulam. It is probably one of the noisiest places in the city because of all the buses coming and going at all hours. Our room is 101, and if you come by, you’ll hear the constant sound of horns and people shouting outside. We do export and import work, so our office is usually full of paperwork and people talking on phones. Being in Kaloor makes it easy for people to reach us, but the traffic is usually a nightmare around here. We have a small office setup, nothing too fancy, just some desks and computers and a place to sit. We spend a lot of time tracking shipments and talking to agents at the port. It is a lot of back and forth, and sometimes things get delayed, which is just part of the job. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because the building gets quite warm in the afternoon. We have been here for a while and we know the neighborhood well. It is a busy life, always checking the time zones to see if we can call someone in a different country. We just do our work and go home like everyone else. It’s a decent living and keeps us right in the heart of the city.
