E Spectrum Interiors

If you’re driving down Am Road in Cherukunnam, you’ll find us. We’re over in Kothamangalam, right where the road curves a bit. E Spectrum Interiors is where we handle all sorts of home stuff, like cupboards and wood fittings. It’s a working shop, so it’s usually pretty loud with saws and drills going off. There is sawdust on everything, no matter how much we sweep. We have some samples of laminates and wood types sitting on a shelf so people can touch them and see the colors. It’s not a shiny showroom like you see in the city. It’s a place where things actually get built. We talk to people about their houses and what they want to fix. Sometimes we go out to their places to measure things, and other times we just stay here and work on the bench. Kothamangalam gets a lot of rain, so we have to be careful about the moisture getting into the materials. It’s hard work and it can be tiring on the back, but it’s what we know how to do. My brother and I have been doing this for a long time. We don't have a big marketing plan or a sales team. We just do the work and hope people like it enough to tell their friends. It’s an honest living and we’re just glad to be busy. The road outside is usually full of trucks, but we don't mind the noise much anymore.
