Koechi Exim Private Limited

We are located at the Kalathil House in Aluva, which is right near the U C College P O. Our company name is Koechi Exim Private Limited. It is a nice area here in Ernakulam, a bit away from the main city chaos but still close enough to get things done. We started this because we wanted to work in the trade sector from our own hometown. The office is part of our family property, so it has a very personal feel to it. We do not have a corporate HR department or a marketing team. It is just us handling the export and import tasks as they come in. A lot of our day involves talking to local manufacturers and seeing what they have ready for the market. Aluva is a good hub because of the transport links. We spend a lot of time on the logistics side, making sure the trucks are on time and the sea freight is booked well in advance. Sometimes there are issues with the paperwork at the port, and we have to spend hours sorting it out. It is not always easy, but we enjoy the process of seeing local goods go out to different countries. We keep our overhead low and our focus on the actual work. It is a straightforward business where we learn something new about the trade laws almost every single week just by dealing with different shipments.
