Kochin Jerky (Opc) Private Limited

We are located at Marvel Mansions, No. 31, in the Kathrikadavu area of Kochi. It’s a residential-looking building, which makes our office feel a bit more like a home than a workplace. Kochin Jerky is a small operation, just one person running it as an OPC. I spend most of my time here in the office at Kathrikadavu, dealing with everything from suppliers to the actual making of the jerky. It’s not a huge factory with hundreds of workers. It’s just me and a couple of part-time helpers when things get really busy. The building has a nice staircase and we are on one of the middle floors. I’ve lived in Kochi for a long time, so setting up the business here felt right. The Kathrikadavu area is central, so it’s easy for me to get around. My desk is usually covered in sticky notes and samples of different seasonings. I don't have a fancy office chair, just a sturdy one that gets the job done. The jerky business is a bit unusual for this area, but I enjoy the process of making something different. I don't use any corporate jargon or have big board meetings. It’s just about making a good product and hoping people like it. I keep my books in a simple ledger and try to stay on top of the orders as they come in. It’s hard work, but I prefer being my own boss in this little space.
