Kochal St Antonys Nidhi Limited

We are over here in Kochal, right inside the Valluvally area of Koonammavu. Our small office is part of the St Antony's Union building. It is a quiet spot mostly, and you can see the local shops from our front window. We have been sitting in this same space for a while now, just dealing with the daily things that come up. People from the neighborhood drop by quite often, sometimes just to say hello or ask about something simple. It gets a bit busy during the morning hours when the market nearby is active. The ceiling fan in our room makes a bit of noise, but we have gotten used to it over the months. Most of us here grew up in the Kochi-Ernakulam area, so we know the names of the families around these parts. We keep our records in these old steel cupboards that have been here since the start. There is nothing fancy about how we work. We just open up the shutters early, sweep the floor, and get to the paperwork. On rainy days, the water drips a little near the entrance, and we have to put a bucket there. It is just a normal place where local folks come to handle their small savings or ask questions about their accounts. We don't have those big computer screens everywhere, just the basic stuff we need to get through the day and take care of things for our neighbors.
