Kirans Dental Clinic

We’ve been here at Janatha Junction in Vyttila for quite some time now. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets right opposite Polakulath Tourist Home. We usually keep the doors open and you can hear the traffic from outside while you're waiting. It’s just a regular place with a few chairs and the dental equipment we need. Most people stop by because they live nearby or work in one of the offices around the junction. We spend a lot of our day just setting things up and making sure the instruments are clean. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a minute for the backup to kick in, which is just part of being in this part of Kochi. There isn't anything fancy about the clinic. It’s got white walls and a small desk where we keep the folders for everyone who comes in. We try to keep the magazines in the waiting room somewhat recent, but usually, they end up being a few months old. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front glass, but the fan helps. We know most of the shopkeepers around here too. It’s just us doing what we do every day. Sometimes people pop in just to ask for directions to the tourist home across the road. We don't mind. It's just how things are at a spot like this in Vyttila.
