New Fashion Leathers

Our place is at Number 75, in the Chamber building on SRM Road. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you know the area. The first thing you notice when you walk into New Fashion Leathers is the smell of the leather. It’s a strong, earthy scent that never really goes away. We have rolls of hides leaning against the walls and tools scattered on the workbenches. It’s a working shop, so it’s never perfectly clean. There’s always some scraps of leather or thread on the floor. We spend our days cutting, stitching, and checking the finish on different pieces. It’s a slow process sometimes, and it requires a lot of patience. The lighting isn't the best in the back, so we have a few extra lamps pointed at the sewing machines. We usually have a pot of tea going somewhere. The neighbors in the building are mostly other small businesses, so there’s a lot of back-and-forth chatter in the hallways. SRM Road is usually busy with traffic, so we hear the honking all day long. We don't have a big showroom or anything. It’s just the workshop and a small area where we show people what we’ve been working on. The desks are old and the chairs creak, but we’ve got everything we need to get the job done. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out.
