You will find us on Pandit Karuppan Road in the Perumanoor area of Ernakulam. It is a busy part of the city, so there is always the sound of horns and traffic outside our windows. The school is not a massive campus; it’s more of a practical space where people come to improve their English. We have students from all walks of life, some are young kids and some are adults who need it for their jobs. The rooms are basic, just chairs and a desk for the teacher. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or big promises. People just come here because they heard about us from a neighbor or a friend. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fans are a bit old, but they keep the air moving. We spend a lot of time on grammar and speaking, and sometimes the classes get quite lively with everyone trying to talk at once. The staff here is small, just a few of us who handle the teaching and the office work. We usually have a pot of tea going in the back room for when we get a break. It’s a bit cramped when several classes are happening at the same time, but we make it work. We are just a local spot in Perumanur trying to help people get a bit more confident with the language without making a big fuss about it.
