The noise from the junction is something we are used to by now. We have several units joined together to make enough room for all the gold and diamonds we have. The shop is usually filled with the sound of people talking. We see a lot of local families from around the Ernakulam district. They come in for all sorts of reasons. Usually, it is for a wedding or a big celebration. We spend our day taking things out of the cases and putting them back. It is a lot of careful work.
