Jk Dhoop Industries

If you come down to Kongorpilly Junction, you’ll find Jk Dhoop Industries on the first floor of the Pulimittathu Building. It’s a local spot, and we’ve been here for a good bit of time now. Making dhoop is what we do every day. The smell of incense usually fills the hallway before you even get to our door. It’s a pleasant way to work, honestly. We aren't some massive factory with robots. Most of what happens here is done by hand or with simple machines that we’ve had for years. Our staff lives nearby, so we all know each other well. It feels more like a community than a corporate office. We pack the sticks and cones right here in the building. Sometimes the junction gets a bit crowded with traffic, especially in the mornings, but we like being in the middle of things. People from the post office or the nearby shops often stop by just to say hello. We don't spend money on big TV ads or anything. We just focus on making sure the incense burns well and smells right. If a batch isn't good, we don't sell it. It’s as simple as that. We just want to provide something nice for people's homes and temples. It’s a small business, and we’re proud to keep it running here in Kongorpilly. We just take it one day at a time.
