Idee Studio is located at No 333, M I G, 9th Cross Road in Panampilly Nagar. It’s a nice enough area to work in. Being pretty close to the Alibaba Restaurant is handy for when we stay late. The studio itself is where all the creative stuff happens. It’s not always the tidiest place because various projects are going on at once. Bits and pieces of materials and sketches lie around most of the time. Impressing people with a shiny office isn't the goal. A place to sit and think and draw is all that's required. Ernakulam is a busy place, but Panampilly Nagar feels a bit different. People walk by and sometimes peek in to see what’s happening. Most of the time, we just focus on the tasks at hand. It can get quiet during concentration or really loud during a design debate. No corporate ladder exists here. We just talk to each other and get the job done. The address is 682036 if you’re looking it up. It’s a practical space for us. Since there is no receptionist, you might have to wait a second if we’re all in the back. That’s just how we run things. Our team has been together for a while and we just like making things that look decent. There is always a lot of coffee being drunk and plenty of paper being used. We appreciate the quiet moments when the afternoon sun hits the desks.
