Heena Marine Service

Heena Marine Service is located on the second floor of the Chidambaram Chamber. The building is at No.40/9027 on Dsi Road, in the area they call the Corporate Zone, specifically at No.C-1. It is a bit of a trek up to the second floor, but we have been here for a while now. We deal with marine services, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone and looking at technical documents. The office is a bit cramped with all the manuals and maps we have lying around. Dsi Road can get quite loud with all the traffic passing by, but once you are inside the chamber, it is a bit quieter. We are not a huge firm with hundreds of employees. We are just a small group of people who understand the marine industry. We do not have a fancy reception area with free coffee; it is mostly just desks and computers. We spend our days coordinating things for ships and making sure all the technical bits are handled properly. It can be a lot of pressure because things in the marine world happen on a tight schedule. We have gotten used to the rhythm of the work over the years. We do not go in for big advertisements or flashy signs. Most people who need us already know where Chidambaram Chamber is. We just focus on doing our tasks correctly and making sure we do not miss any details. It is a steady kind of life here in the Corporate Zone.
