Gypsy Travels

Our office is right at Thoppumpady Junction, which is probably one of the busiest spots in this part of Ernakulam. We are directly opposite Marina Mall, so there is always a lot of activity and people walking by. The noise from the traffic at the junction is something we have gotten used to over the years. Our pin code is 682005. Gypsy Travels is a straightforward kind of place. We don't have any fancy decorations or a big reception desk. It’s just a room with our computers and a lot of travel schedules pinned up. People often come in after they finish their shopping at the mall across the road. They might be looking for a bus ticket or a car to take them to the airport. We sit and talk through the options with them. It’s a very local feel here. We don't use any scripts or corporate talk. We just tell people what is available and what it costs. Sometimes we have a backlog of bookings to get through, so it can be a bit messy with papers everywhere. Thoppumpady is a good place to be because everyone passes through the junction at some point. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the local drivers and other business owners nearby. It’s just a regular shop doing regular work for the people in our community.
