Gupta Sarees

Our shop is number 5729, located right in the middle of Nai Sarak. Chandni Chowk is a busy area, as everyone knows, and we have been part of it for a long time. Gupta Sarees isn't some big modern showroom; it's a traditional spot where we keep our collections. The shelves are usually packed with different fabrics. We spend most of our time unfolding and folding things back up for the people who stop by. Sometimes the alleyways get really jammed with rickshaws and delivery carts. It can be a bit of a struggle to get through, but we like the energy of the place. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It’s mostly just us and the stock. We see a lot of families coming in, especially when there is a wedding or a festival coming up. The light in the shop isn't always the brightest, but it’s enough to see the colors and the work on the cloth. We keep a ledger for the accounts and try to stay on top of things. Every day is different depending on who walks through the door. It gets quite warm in the summer months, but we stay busy regardless. We have been in this same spot for years, and most of the other shopkeepers nearby are like old friends to us now. It's a hard way to make a living, but it works for us.
