It’s in the Ernakulam district, and if you know Kochi, you know Mamangalam is a busy area. We aren't a big chain or anything corporate. It’s just a cafe where we serve people every day. The building, Kalliyath, is right there in the middle of things. Running a cafe is a lot of work, mostly involving early mornings and late nights. We don't have a bunch of marketing people telling us what to say. We just make coffee and food and try to keep the place decent. The area around Mamangalam has changed a lot over the years, but it’s still a good place to be. We have our regulars who come in, and then there are the people just passing through Ernakulam. Our space isn't huge, but it works for what we need. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just open the doors, clean the tables, and wait for customers. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us on our feet. We like being part of the local scene here in Kochi. If you're near the Kalliyath building, you’ll find us.
