German Study Centre

We’ve been here at No.1/640 for a good while now. It’s right on Santa Cruz School Road in Fort Cochin, which most people around here know pretty well. Our place, the German Study Centre, is where folks come when they need to pick up the language. Maybe they’re planning to move away for a job or just want to learn something new for themselves. Fort Cochin has a specific feel to it, and being near the school means there’s always some activity outside our door. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and books. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It’s just us helping people figure out German grammar and how to speak the words properly. Some days it gets a bit loud with everyone practicing at once, but that’s just how it goes in a learning environment. We started this because there was a clear need for it in Kochi. People stop by after work or during their lunch breaks to get their lessons in. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular spot where the actual work gets done. We try to keep things low-key and practical. If you walk down the road, you can't really miss our sign. We’ve seen a lot of students pass through these doors over the years. Some stay for a few months, others a bit longer. We just open up in the morning and start the lessons.
