Geetha Eye Clinic

Geetha Eye Clinic is located in Ithapilly Towers over in Kangarapady, Thrikkakara. We have been here for a while, helping people with their vision. It is a small office in the tower. We have the usual machines for testing eyes and checking prescriptions. People come in when they can't see the signs on the road clearly or when their glasses break. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a big fancy showroom with thousands of frames, just a practical selection and the tools to check your eyes. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit full, especially in the evenings when people are off work and coming in at the same time. We just take them in order and do our best. It’s not a corporate place. We are just a local clinic. The lighting in the hallway isn't always the best, but our clinic is bright enough. We talk to people about their eyes in plain English, no need for big medical words that nobody understands. Most of our patients live right here in Thrikkakara, so we see familiar faces quite often. We just show up, do the eye exams, and help people pick out what they need. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work and we are glad to be part of the community here. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is out, but that doesn't happen very often fortunately.
