Our office and workspace for Foremex Foods is at Building No. 27/1963, on the ground floor of Manath Enclave. We are right on the south side of the Olimugal Juma Masjid in Kakkanad. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows the mosque. Being on the ground floor makes it easy to move things in and out without having to deal with stairs. The space is practical. We’ve got some desks and then the area where we handle the food products. It’s not a huge place, but it works for what we need. Kakkanad has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings, but our little corner feels pretty much the same. You can hear the call to prayer from next door throughout the day, which gives the place a certain rhythm. We spend our hours checking inventory and making sure everything is labeled correctly. There is always a lot of paperwork to deal with, which isn't the fun part, but it has to be done. We keep some fans going because it gets stuffy in the back rooms. It’s a straightforward operation. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big showroom. We just want to get the work done and go home to our families at the end of the shift. Most days are just about staying on top of the orders and making sure the place stays clean for the next morning.
