Forema Apparrels Private Limited is located right near the Nettoor Mahadeva Temple. If you know the P.W.D Road or the INTUC Junction, you’ve probably passed us. We are at number 522. Being so close to the temple means we hear the bells and the music during festivals. It’s a nice part of Nettoor to work in. We do all our garment work right here in Ernakulam. It’s a simple setup, nothing like those big factories you see on TV. We have a few machines and a big table for cutting fabric. Most of our day is spent making sure the orders are ready on time. We don't have a receptionist or anything; usually, one of us just wipes our hands and answers the door. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we know the neighbors well. The rain in Kerala can be heavy, so we’re always making sure the roof is holding up over the stock. We don't write big speeches about what we do. We just make clothes. Sometimes the thread tangles or a needle breaks, and that's the biggest drama of the day. We like the routine of it. Working near the temple gives the place a calm feeling even when we are rushing to finish a big batch of shirts. It’s just a normal business in a normal neighborhood. We focus on the work and try to stay out of trouble.
