Emigro Foods Private Limited

We started Emigro Foods right out of our place at Kuthkattu House in Thoppumpady. It’s a busy spot here in Kochi, and we’ve been working out of this building, 16/648B, for a while now. Most days are spent checking on the food items we stock and making sure things get where they need to go. It isn't a big fancy operation. We just have a few rooms set up for the business stuff and a bit of space for storage. People in the neighborhood know where we are because we’ve been around the Thoppumpady post office area for years. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with the deliveries coming in and out, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with food. My brother and a couple of guys from the area help out with the heavy lifting and the paperwork. We don't really do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people knowing us personally or seeing the name on the crates. It’s hard work, especially when the weather in Kochi gets humid, but we manage. We try to keep things organized, even if the office looks a bit messy with all the ledgers and receipts lying around. We’ve had this plan for a long time to just provide decent food products locally. It’s a simple setup, nothing like those big corporate places you see in the city center. Just us at Kuthkattu House, doing what we can every day to keep the business moving along.
