We are out in Ambalamugal, near the Puthencruz post office in Kunnathunad. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but it’s where we have the space to do our work. We deal with water engineering, which mostly means we work on systems that move or clean water. It is a lot of pipes, tanks, and valves. The area around us has a lot of big plants, so we fit right in. The humidity here can be really tough on the equipment, so we have to be careful about rust and wear. We’ve got a small group of engineers and technicians who really know their stuff. We don't sit in an air-conditioned office all day. Most of the time, we are out on the floor or visiting sites to see how things are holding up. It’s messy work sometimes, and you often end up getting wet, but that is just part of the job. We don’t have any slick marketing people. We just talk to our customers directly and figure out what they need for their specific setup. Sometimes the rains in Kerala make it hard to get anything done, especially when the roads get flooded, but we manage to keep things moving. We’ve been part of this community for a while now, and we like being located here. It’s a quiet place compared to the city, except for the sound of the pumps we are testing. We just keep our heads down and work.
