Doughrist Bakers Llp

If you head over to AarattKadav Jn, you will find us at Building No 610 in ward 41. We are Doughrist Bakers Llp, and we’ve been working out of this Kalamassery Development Plot for a while now. The address used to be different, but the work we do inside stays the same. We spend most of our time kneading dough and watching the timers on the ovens. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy bags of flour and moving trays around all day. Our hands are usually dry from all the washing, and there is always a layer of dust on the floor by evening. We aren't trying to be the fanciest bakery in town. We just want to make stuff that tastes okay and gets out on time. The area here is quite industrial, which suits us just fine. We have enough space for our equipment and a place for the delivery vans to pull up. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them ourselves. It’s just us and the ovens, really. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who know how to handle the heat. It gets really warm in here, especially during the summer months. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next batch of bread. That's how our days go in this part of Kalamassery.
