Dinnis Marble Works

Our workshop is at Kurisingal House on Perumpadappu Pai Road. We are right in the Palluruthy Industrial Area, across from the bullet workshop. It’s a gritty part of town, which suits the kind of work we do. We deal with marble and stone, so things get pretty dusty and loud around here. There is always the sound of cutting or polishing going on. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights. Most of our space is taken up by big slabs of stone and heavy tools. We’ve been working with marble for a long time. It’s hard work and it’s heavy, but we’re used to it by now. The team is mostly local guys who know how to handle the material. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. People find us because they need stone work done and someone told them we were here. Being in the industrial area means we can make as much noise as we need to. It’s a practical location for this kind of business. Sometimes the road gets muddy when it rains, but that’s just how it is in Palluruthy. We just focus on getting the cuts right and making sure the pieces are finished properly before they leave the shop. It’s honest, physical work. We like being part of the industrial community here. We just stay busy with the orders we have and keep moving forward.
