Deshmukh Traders

Our spot here at 24/1624 on Bristow Road is right in the middle of Willingdon Island, so there is always something going on with the ships and the trucks. Deshmukh Traders has been around for a bit, and mostly we just spend our days making sure things get where they need to go without too much trouble. It gets pretty hot out here on the island, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the office windows, but we have a few fans going to keep it okay. People stop by all the time asking for directions or just to talk about the local traffic near the port. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that, just some desks and a lot of paperwork piled up on the shelves. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the old wiring in this building, but we manage to get the orders through eventually. It is a busy life dealing with all the traders and drivers who come through the door every day. Most of us have been working together for years now, so we know how to handle the rush when a big shipment arrives unexpectedly. We usually just grab tea from the stall down the road and keep working until the sun goes down. It’s not a glamorous job by any means, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We just focus on getting the work done and heading home to our families at the end of the day.
